THF (50 ml), 1-ethyne-4-fluorobenzene (250 mg) and Pd(dppf)2Cl2*CH2Cl2 (78 mg) are subsequently added under nitrogen. The batch is stirred at 100 C., during which a black suspension forms. For work-up, the cooled reaction mixture is added to water and subsequently extracted with ethyl acetate. The organic phase is dried and evaporated.
