General procedure: In a typical experiment,a mixture of aromatic aldehyde 2 (1mmol) and o-phenylenediamine (1) (1 mmol) was taken in a test tube.The reaction mixture was stirred on magnetic stirrer in concentrated solar radiation (CSR) for 20-30 minutes and monitored by TLC.
