Researchers who often do experiments know that organic synthesis is a process of preparing more complex target molecules from simple raw materials through one or more chemical reactions. Generally, it requires fewer steps,and cheap raw materials. 183610-70-0, name is 2-Amino-3-(trifluoromethyl)pyridine. A new synthetic method of this compound is introduced below., name: 2-Amino-3-(trifluoromethyl)pyridine

To a solution of 5.37 g (32.8 mmol) of 3-trifluoromethyl-pyridin-2-ylamine (Fluorochem Ltd., Derbyshire, United Kingdom) in 100 ml of dry CH3CN, 6.45 g of NBS are added in 4 equal portions over a period of 1 h at 0-50C under argon. The cooling bath is removed and stirring is continued for 3 h. The solvent is evaporated under vacuum, the residue is dissolved in EtOAc and washed with water and brine. The organic phase is dried over Na2SO4 and evaporated. The title compound is a red-dish-yellow oil which is used after drying in the dark for 5 h at RT and under high vacuum in the next step without further purification.
