After 10 min a solution of 2-(bromomethyl)-4- chloro-1 -((2,4-difluorobenzyl)oxy)benzene (162 mg, 0.47 mmol) in 1 mL of DMF was added dropwise. After 16 h at 0 5C water was added and extracted with EtAcO (x3). Combined organic extracts were washed with water, brine and dried over Na2S04.
