To a solution of Intermediate 3 (250 mg, 0.83 mmol), tert-butylcarboxylic acid(89 mg, 0.88 mmol), 6-(tert-butyl)pyridine-3-carboxylic acid (158 mg, 0.88 mmol), EDC (270 mg, 1.25 mmol) and HOBT (150 mg, 0.83 mmol) in DCM (5 mL) was added DIPEA (250 muL, 1.66 mmol). The reaction mixture was stirred at room temperature for 16 h. The reaction was quenched with water (10 mL).
