In an autoclave, the reactant and Ru(acac)3 were dissolved with 1.4 equivalents of tris(diphenylphosphinomethyl)ethane in isopropanol, and converted at 150 C. and 150 bar of hydrogen pressure for 24 h. After the reaction, the reaction mixture was analyzed by gas chromatography.Conversion, selectivity and yield were determined by means of gas chromatography.
