This compound has unique chemical properties. The synthetic route is as follows. Application In Synthesis of 2-Amino-6-bromothiazolo[5,4-b]pyridine
6-Bromo-[1 ,3]thiazolo[5,4-b]pyridin-2-amine (0.1 g, 0.43 mmol) was dissolved in N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone (1.5 mE) and ethyl 3-bromo-2-oxopropanoate (64 pi, 0.43 mmol) added dropwise. The reaction was stirred at room temperature for 1 hour then heated to 60 C. overnight. The reaction was cooled then water/ice added. The resulting precipitate was isolated by vacuum filtration. The red solid was further dried in a vacuum oven to give the title compound. ?H NMR(500 MHz, DMSO) 9.05 (s, 1H), 8.95 (d, J=2.1 Hz, 1H), 8.74 (d, J=2.1 Hz, 1H), 4.32 (q, J=7.1 Hz, 2H), 1.33 (t, J=7.1 Hz, 3H).
