The organic phases were combined and evaporated under vacuum to give 6 as a light yellow solid. 1H NMR (300 MHz, CD3OD) delta 8.18 (s, 1H), 7.78 (d, J = 8.3 Hz, 1H), 7.67 (s, 1H), 3.96 (s, 3H).
