Then the reaction mixture was diluted with H2O (50 mL) and extracted with EtOAc (100 mL*3). The combined organic layers were dried over Na2SO4 and concentrated to give the desired compound 5-cyclopropyl-6-fluoropyridin-2-amine (yellow oil, 2.2 g). ESI-MS [M+H]+: 153.2.
