The residue was purified by column chromatography on silica gel to give III-5 [0572] Compound 20 was prepared following the general procedure, except the solvent was changed to acetonitrile (10% yield). 1H NMR (CDCl3, 400 MHz) delta 8.06 (d, J=2.4 Hz, 1H), 7.97 (dd, J=10, 2.4 Hz, 1H), 7.53-7.45 (m, 1H), 7.43-7.36 (m, 1H), 7.34-7.25 (m, 2H), 6.67 (d, J=10 Hz, 1H), 2.45 (s, 3H). MS (ESI) m/z (M+H)+ 232.0.
