Reference Production Example 31A mixture of 0.60 g of 2-amino-4-(trifluoromethylthio)phenol, 0.45 g of 3-chloroisonicotinic acid, 0.71 g of WSC and 6 ml of pyridine was stirred while heating at 80 C. for three hours. The reaction mixture was cooled to room temperature, and then water was added to the reaction mixture, followed by extraction with ethyl acetate three times. The combined organic layers were washed with water and a saturated sodium chloride solution, dried over anhydrous magnesium sulfate, and then concentrated under reduced pressure.
