Cold water (100 mL) was added and the resulting mixture was neutralized with sat. NaHCO3solution. The aqueous layer was extracted with DCM (2×100 mL) and the combined organic layers were dried over Na2SO4. Aftet filtration the filtrate was concentrated in vacuo to give the title compound (5 g) as a white solid. MS (ESI) C7H5Cl2NO2requires 205 found 206 [M+H]+.
