The reaction mixture was stirred at room temperature for 2 h. The mixture was evaporated to remove DMF and purified by column chromatography on silica gel (EtOAc/petroleum at 10:1) to obtain 602 as a yellow solid (1.32 g, 87%): LCMS: 294 [M+1]+; 1H NMR (DMSO-d6): delta 3.72 (s, 3H), 4.40 (d, 2H, J=6.3 Hz), 6.81 (d, 1H, J=5.7 Hz), 6.91 (d, 2H, J=9.0 Hz), 7.25 (d, 2H, J=8.4 Hz), 7.95 (d, 1H, J=5.4 Hz), 8.02 (t, 1H, J=5.7 Hz).
