LCMS showed the reaction was complete. After the reaction mixture was diluted with water (40mL) (50mL × 2) and extracted with dichloromethane. The organic layer was washed with brine (30mL × 2), dried over anhydrous sodium sulfate, filtered and concentrated. The resulting residue was purified by silica gel column (petroleum ether: ethyl acetate = 4: 1, 3: 1) to give the title compound (50mg, yield 37.5%) as a yellow oil.
