Into a round-bottom flask were charged 3-(5-methylpyridin-2-yl)-5-(pyrrolidine-l – carbonyl)benzoic acid (80 mg, 0.26 mmol), (6-methylpyridin-3-yl)methanamine (60 mg, 0.49 mmol), N- (3-dimethylaminopropyl)-N’-ethylcarbodiimide hydrochloride (90 mg, 0.47 mmol), 1- hydroxybenzotriazole hydrate (80 mg, 0.52 mmol), NN-diisopropylethylamine (80 mg, 0.62 mmol) and methylene chloride (5 mL). The mixture was stirred at room temperature overnight and then concentrated.
