The organic phase layer was collected, washed with saturated aqueous NaHCO3 solution (30ml), brine (40ml), dried (Na2SO^, and concentrated to produce 1.12 g of 3-(difiuoromethoxy)pyridin-2-amine which was carried forward without further purification: LCMS (m/z, MH+): 161.0, tR = 0.31min.
