General procedure: Arylthiourea 2 (1 mmol) was added to a solution (in case of 1a) or suspension (for 1b,c) of 3-substituted 1,2,4-triazine 1 (1 mmol) in acetic anhydride. The reaction mixture was stirred at room temperature for 7-27 h. The precipitate obtained was filtered and washed with a small amount of acetic anhydride, diethyl ether and dried in air.
