The mixture was stirred at room temperature overnight, diluted with water (100 mL), and the products extracted into ether (3×75 mL). The dried extracts were concentrated to dryness, and the residue purified on silica gel eluting with ether/dichloromethane (1:1). The subtitled compound was isolated as an oil (1.2 g).1H NMR (400 MHz, CDCl3) delta 6.98 (1H, d), 6.92 (1H, d), 4.26 (2H, t), 3.65 (2H, t), 2.47 (6H, d).
