General procedure: p-NO2DPPA (91.3 mg, 0.25 mmol) and DABCO (28.0 mg, 0.25 mmol) were added to a solution of the sulfoxide (0.10 mmol) in toluene (0.35 mL). Concentration of the solvent in vacuo followed by purification of the residue on a silica gel column (AcOEt:n-Hexane 1:5-0:1) gave the desired alpha-azido sulfide.
