After 2 h, the reaction mixture was concentrated in vacuo and the crude product was purified via flash chromatography on silica gel (0-50% ethyl acetate in petroleum ether) to provide (3 -amino-6-chloropyridin-2-yl)(3 -hydroxyazetidin- 1 -yl)methanone (1.1 g, 73% yield) as a yellow solid.
