The sample was passed through a silica column (MeOH:CHCl3 3: 1) a second time and 56 mg of a red-purple product was obtained after recrystallization from CH2CI2 and hexanes (yield = 14 %). NMR (CD3OD): 6.42 (dd, 1H, J = 7 Hz, l = 1 Hz), 6.79 (td, 1H, J = 7 Hz, l = 1 Hz), 6.89 (td, 1H, = 7 Hz, 4./ = 1 Hz), 7.19-7.28 (m, 3H), 7.31 , (dd, 1H, J = 6 Hz, 4 J = 2 Hz), 7.46 (ddd, 1H, 3 J = 7 Hz, 5 Hz, 4 J = 1 Hz), 7.58 (d, 1H, 3 J = 6 Hz, 4 J = 1 Hz), 7.72- 7.91 (m, 7H), 8.02 (ddd, 1H, 3 J = 8 Hz, 8 Hz, J = 1 Hz), 8.10 (ddd, 1H, J = 5 Hz, 4J = 2 Hz, = 1 Hz), 8.41 (d, 1H, J = 8 Hz), 8.45 (d, 1H, 4 J = 1 Hz), 8.45 (d, 1H, J = 8 Hz), 8.51 (d, 1H, J = 8 Hz), 8.61 (d, 1H, J = 8 Hz).
