The mixture was concentrated, and the resulting residue was washed with water and dried under vacuum to give the desired product (920 mg) as a pale yellow solid. LC-MS (ES) m/z = 293 [M+H]+. NMR (400 MHz, CD3OD): 5 2.45 (s, 3H), 3.93 (s, 3H), 4.79 (d, J = 1 .0 Hz, 2H), 7.74 (t, J = 1 .0 Hz, 1 H), 8.93 – 8.96 (m, 1 H), 8.96 – 8.99 (m, 1 H).
