General procedure: Chromenone 1a (0.5 mmol), pyridinium salts 2a (0.55 mmol), DBU (1.0 mmol) and 1,4-dioxane (3.0 mL) were dissolved in 10 mL round-bottomed flask and stirring at 80 C for 12 h.
