The three-component tandem reaction of 2-aminobenzonitriles, arylboronic acids and ketones allowing the synthesis of polysubstituted quinolines I [R1 = H, 7-Me, 6-F, etc.; R2 = Me, Ph, 2-thienyl, etc.; R3 = Ph, 2-naphthyl, 3-thienyl, etc.; R4 = H, Et, Br, etc.; R2R4 = CH2CH2CH2; CH2(CH2)2CH2, etc.] was reported.
